  1. Hey Jess - yep, this is a much more restful blog template - makes it all about the work. My instinct looking at your thumbnails is that we need to get 'further away' from your subjects; everything seems up close - like little details, as opposed to spaces and environments - the Baucis shots are more 'roomy' and suggestive of spaces. I do think looking at some real world references would help you. I know you've haven't had an OGR yet, but check out the sort of feedback I've been giving and you'll see what I mean :)

    Just notice how I'm encouraging students to a) look again at Calvino's language and find clues there and b) look outside of 'concept art' and look at the world for ideas and new ways to thinking about your cities. I can tell from these thumbnails that you're not inspired and struggling to visualise - this is a sign that you need to change up your routine, crack on with some research and come at the project from some different directions.
